The Wedding Day is a huge occasion in a person’s life and every wedding KDH Photo photograph in Kent, East and West Sussex, Surrey and the surrounding areas, we treat as though it’s the most important event of the year, because to the bride and groom, that’s exactly what it is. Many months (and sometimes years!) of planning have gone into preparing for this moment and we see it’s up to us to complement their big day. In the old days, wedding photos looked like school photos and did nothing to tell the story of the day or in what sequence it all happened. Every picture taken on the day should be a record of the event and have a natural and relaxed feel to it. Today’s clients are no longer prepared to pose like statues and we wouldn’t want them to! The main requirement for the modern couple is for a fun and honest record of the day as it really happened, and that’s what we at KDH Photo set out to achieve. For many couples their fear of a wedding photographer is someone who will take them away from their family and friends for hours to set up pictures that they don’t really want anyway. We like to allow around 15 minutes for the couple shots and probably about the same for the family shots, leaving you lots of time to enjoy the party. Contemporary wedding photography is about capturing the feeling and emotion of the day with as little interruption and stage management as possible. The pictures need to be realistic and the couple need to feel comfortable while they are being photographed.
