About Your Day

Many wedding photographers make themselves unpopular with guests, families and friends by taking the bride and groom away for hours of photos either at the reception or after the service. We work in a spontaneous and relaxed way and wouldn’t dream of breaking up the party for longer than the bride and groom have asked us to. Also, we are not relying on your wedding for our promotional material and have no intention of turning it into a KDH photoshoot where we can experiment with different camera angles and lenses. We still hear tales of group shots dragging on for hours and becoming very formal and tedious. We tend to encourage everyone to relax and enjoy the process as much as possible. As a guide, we’d recommend on average around six group shots and one large shot of all the guests for every wedding, which will take around 20mins. We don’t use loudhailers, whistles or microphones, either. Or treat anyone like sheep.
